AUTHOR INFORMATIONS
Timing
Contributed oral presentations are allocated thirteen minutes (13 min)
for the actual presentations and an additional two minutes for questions
(2 min) and discussion.
Invited talks are allocated twenty-five minutes (20 min) for the
talk plus five minutes (5 min) for discussion.
Session timings will be listed in the Abstracts Book to permit attendees
to select talks they wish to attend. Consequently, session chairmen will
strictly enforce these time limits.
Presentation
Each presenting author should "check in" with the session chairperson
at least fifteen minutes before the scheduled start of the session. Talks
will be called at the time scheduled in the Abstracts Book. Session chairpersons
will have the responsibility of reporting "no shows" to the
Publication Committee.
Visual
equipment
The visual equipment provided will be overhead projectors. Computer based
presentations will be possible through authors personal or on-site facilities
laptop equipments (only CD is accepted).
The full compatibility between author's own equipments and on-site display
facilities should be carefully checked before the start of the session.
If you wish to present your talk using this capability, you are kindly
requested to present at least 15 minutes before your talk time.
You will be responsible for promptly connecting to the projector.
The presentation timer will begin immediately after the introduction by
the session chair, and there will not be time to reboot your computer.
For this reason, you are strongly encouraged to bring transparencies as
a backup and to test laptop connections to the projectors in the speaker
practise room.
Anyway, technical support will be provided by the Organization.
Guidelines
for Poster Presentations
Poster presentations give authors and attendees the opportunity to discuss
results in depth. The key to a successful poster presentation is to prepare
poster materials carefully.
Size of Poster Materials
Poster presentations will consist of well-prepared visual materials about
the work (0.90 m (width) x 1 m (height)).
The size of poster materials should be easily readable at a distance of
a few meters. The title and the list of authors, along with the addresses
and affiliations, should be printed in large, block letters. Small, poorly
prepared graphs and tables require readers to stand close to the poster,
blocking the view of your presentation from other attendees. The mere
posting of pages of a manuscript should be avoided. A few oversize graphs
and tables with concise captions will attract the attention of your viewer
who can then be engaged in a more detailed discussion.
----------------------------------------------
The full proceedings volume of the Congress will be published.
Six (6) printed pages will be allocated for invited papers and
four (4) printed pages for contributory papers.
Please read carefully the Guidelines for manuscript preparation and follow
the instructions.
In order to maintain the same abstract number, papers have to be submitted
within the record of the corresponding accepted abstracts.
All the papers (invited, contributed oral and poster) will be reviewed
by a team of experts on the basis of quality and relevance in the specific
topics (see recommandations). Deadline: February
25, 2006
